We are currently looking for a Material Cost Analyst for our site in Kanona, NY. The incumbent of this position establishes the material costs for each project following a detailed analysis of lenders coming from the suppliers, of the marker on the preceding projects, and by establishing the "true costs". Concretely, this position has the following responsibilities: Manage and carry out the follow-up of the material costs of multiple projects. Follow-up of the current costs in comparison with the budget and the Blue Book, follow-up each site implied with the project, evaluates the variations related to the quantities, exchange rate, indexing, etc. Communicate material cost status to management, highlights material risk & opportunities. Support buyers with purchase order emission, procurement processes or negotiations. Review and validate the synopsis of order before the final authorization, at the time of their emission and any subsequent version. Evaluate the change proposals, validate the impact on the budget/bill of material in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, Project Manager, and Finance Controller. Make recommendations, ensure purchase orders and the terms and conditions of the contracts of the subcontracting are updated accordingly to the changes. Define the "true cost" for the systems and components or subsets. Establish the material costs for each new tender by carrying out a comparative market research and previous projects. Take part in the definition of the material list with the pre-project members as well as the Engineering Department. Present communication and justify cost analysis to the various stakeholders. Requirements:Successful applicants must: Possess a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or FinanceHave 3-5 years of related finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentNote that the knowledge of SAP would be considered as an asset for this position.
